At PDR, we treat patients diagnosed with Sciatica, which can cause numbness, tingling, weakness, or pain down the leg.  Sciatica occurs when the sciatic nerve becomes irritated.  A muscle called the piriformis can put pressure on the nerve to cause symptoms.  In addition to our MedX strengthening program, we also provide manual therapy to help relieve tension in tight muscles such as the piriformis to help ease your symptoms.
